چکیده
The Human-Centric SMED (H-SMED) is an evolution of the classical methodology introduced by Shingo to manage setup process, which particularly suitable for companies where involves activities with high human content, that can be hardly transformed into external operations performed during machine uptime. H-SMED integrates Industry 4.0 tools, as MES Data Analysis, Lean Management and Ergonomics a new attention centrality workers, in order guide transition towards next 5.0. developed four phases, devolved to: (1) understanding changeover process; (2) identifying potential improvements; (3) moving from proposal practice; (4) training control, continuous improvement cycle. case study world-wide known company fashion eyewear industry proposed validate framework, reporting 44% reduction duration.

Human centric systems engineering
This thesis is a study into an engineering technology that enables us to investigate the cognitive aspects of systems. Where previous techniques have focused on individual human roles undertaking defined tasks, this work develops engineering technologies to understand the cognitive contribution of the human team participating in the system and how the deployment of machine decision making techn...
متن کاملHuman-centric sensing.
The first decade of the century witnessed a proliferation of devices with sensing and communication capabilities in the possession of the average individual. Examples range from camera phones and wireless global positioning system units to sensor-equipped, networked fitness devices and entertainment platforms (such as Wii). Social networking platforms emerged, such as Twitter, that allow sharin...
متن کاملHuman-Centric Situational Awareness in the Bedroom
Bed-related situation monitoring is a crucial task in geriatric healthcare. Due to shortage of qualified caregivers, automatic detection of the situation in a bedroom is desirable since risks may arise when an elder gets up from the bed alone. In addition, analyzing the total amount of care time of an elder is helpful when the social effect on the improvement of the elder’s health needs to be e...
متن کاملThe Transcript-centric Mutations in Human Genomes
Since the human genome is mostly transcribed, genetic variations must exhibit sequence signatures reflecting the relationship between transcription processes and chromosomal structures as we have observed in unicellular organisms. In this study, a set of 646 ubiquitous expression-invariable genes (EIGs) which are present in germline cells were defined and examined based on RNA-sequencing data f...
متن کاملHuman-Centric Approach for Human-Robot Interaction
1 Our aim Many intelligent robots have already been developed for entertaining people or providing useful information. Such robots need capability of human-robot interaction to be a communication partner of the human. Our aim is to achieve human-robot interaction which is as natural as human-human interaction. 2 Why do people feel shy about interaction with robot? When we exhibited our robots R...
